New Video Card

I haven't been keeping up with new computer components recently but I need a new video card. My main criteria are:

- Less than $100
- HDMI output
- PCI Express 2.0 x16

I think I'm leaning towards NVIDIA cards, but if there is a reason I should buy ATI over NVIDIA I'd like to hear it. Either way any feedback on what I should either look for or cards I should consider would be great.

What would the NVIDIA equivalents to these cards be? or does ATI tend to make cards that perform as well at a cheaper price?

4850 is $20 cheaper. also if you want to hook it to telly, 4850 would probably better as it support sound through HDMI.
