New Virus

I just got Windows 7 installed, loaded all my original programs, and got a virus before connected to the internet. I know where the virus came from but now I can't get rid of it. It is called "AgentOff!A." I quarantined it with Windows 7 and removed same way. Nothing works. I have Windows Defender but still nothing. How do I get rid of this since it comes back everytime I restart my computer?

You needed to run Malwarebytes first and then hijackthis. So please after running malwarebytes post a fresh hijackthis log.

By the way, I noticed you aren't running any antivirus program. I highly recommend you get one that is free such as AVG, Avast, or Avira and install it as soon as possible. Running without antivirus software is just asking for problems.

I already see your infections but won't do anything until you post the 2 new logs.

Just to add that you should post a new hijackthis log with the 2.0.2 version and not the beta.

Providing you had Malwarebytes remove those infections, your clean. Except there are a couple entries we can fix so that they don't start on bootup.

Please rerun hijackthis and place a check next to these entries and then click on fix checked at the bottom.

Thanks for the help, rebooted already and doesn't seem to have come back. Just curious though, why remove the adobe items? Were they an additional cause or is that something i just don't want on my computer?

Just an unneeded process at bootup. But please get an antivirus program on there as soon as you can, don't be browsing the web without one.

Just adding to getting an AntiVirus;

It is really dangerous to go online without an antivirus. Without one, you are extremely likely to get infected and the consequences could be even worse next time. All of the following are excellent free versions of commercial antiviruses. Be sure to only install one. I strongly recommend going with Avira.
