Hahah I'm sorry but that quote just made my day.
This is the future.

Interesting. But I think games in disc form or memory card form are here to stay for a while, mainly because you can lend your discs to friends. I don't see how you can "lend" your games to friends using the onlive service. I see onlive service taking off once optical-cables replace copper cables for internet and have a throughput of 100mbps, no less.
OnLive will be fine if it takes off, since a lot of people have high speed internet, and even if you don't have blazing speeds, the service will work with your speed.
Or so they say. Then there's the skeptics like me who won't believe that crysis is being streamed to an HDTV over a slightly better than average internet connection until they see it.![]()
sorry if this seems stupid, but i have a question regarding onlive. so it's a gaming system but all rendering/processing are done at the server? so it's like i have a ps3 connected to my tv but the 2 are thousand of miles apart?![]()
With todays current home internet speed, I don't see OnLive gaining momentum, not yet. I think it's perfect for playing non HD games, such as regular Xbox, PS2, and older console games, since these games are less graphics intensive and would take less time or speed to download.
