Anyone else able to download it yet? My room mate was able to download it but no matter what I do it won't go on mine. Anyone else having the same issue?

Downloaded it this morning, I really like it! I never even knew facebook was accessible on the Xbox, haha

Haven't had a stable enough net connection to yet, but my brother said it was awful, especially for Neflix. Apparently when you click on a move or episode and just plays instantly now, no more descriptions and information.

I must be honest i hardly use the 360 but i don't like the look of the new Dash,They made it too much like a Tablets GUI and i find all the social networking stuff annoying,Its too much in your face Imo....Especially if you don't use Social networks like myself.

Although the new GUI does seem faster/more snappy than the old.

The only thing that im looking forward too on the new updates are YouTube (so i can watch it on the main TV) and HBO GO (If it will work in the UK).

It is horribly stupid. It is a game console, not a freaking tablet. Microsoft needs to realize their new designs suck.

New Windows 8 Home Screen? Garbage
New Xbox 360 Dashboard? Pretty bad, but I can live with it.

Blame Netflix, not Microsoft, they are the ones that changed the app.

Why don't you like it? I think it's awesome! Much easier to connect with friends who are on facebook and twitter, it now tells you what friends are playing games rather then saying "friends are playing this game".

Besides, now the UI will be very similar if you have an Xbox, W8 Tablet, WP8, etc. It's the same strategy as Apple.

ZJust updated and I love it. Looks very much like the Zune and Windows Phone interface, which is great because I love how my Zune works and I have my Droid 3 setup like WP7.

It's much sleeker and faster. Biggest thing I like is it seems far less jammed with ads. I like that it actually starts on my game screen now and not on an ad.

Because I highly dislike the UI in the first place. From what I've seen so far it seems harder to get around to my content which is basically music streamed from my PC and games.

Plus, change is baaaaad. :D

I really like it to. I wish I could get rid of Facebook though, I'll never use it on Xbox. Controlling everything with your voice is kind of cool to, but sometimes you have to yell at it. Also looking forward to Youtube and Rogers On Demand, I thought they would be available right away.

As far as I know facebook is only under Social > Social Apps > Facebook, why would you want to get rid of it? I don't recall seeing it everywhere.

Is there no option to revert back to the old Theme/GUI?

If not thats a bad move from MS.

Not as far as I know, but they want people getting used to the new tile interface so when Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 come out people are used to it.

Meh, it's okay I guess. I usually just roll with the punches when they decide to make design changes. After a couple days you get used to it and don't even notice it anyway. It does look "sleeker" this way though. I never did love the old design, so a change was welcome.

So far I've had a bad experience with it... I tried enabling cloud sharing and my xbox sat for 20 minutes trying to load the menu before I just shut it off.

I like the interface, but I agree that it does feel more like a tablet now. I hate how netflix is now. I don't like not seeing a description.

I do agree about Netflix, I think the new design is horrible. I find it much more difficult to find shows and movies I want to watch.

I'm pretty indifferent to the new design but liking the new features. Beacons are nifty but the big thing the update is bringing is new options for streaming content. Unfortunately the only thing new so far is EPix... I got a trial membership and I'm not too impressed in either the content or the quality of service.

Luckily there are lots more in the works. In particular I'm looking forward to YouTube, Crackle, and BBC. As for the current app redesigns... Netflix has definitely because a bit less user friendly, however I fell that being able to now navigate options while video is playing more than makes up for it. Hulu Plus seems to be worse off, however.

I cant believe this,Typical Microsoft...Was looking forward to Xbox,s new YouTube feature so i download it this afternoon to give it a try and once installed and tried running tells me i need a Xbox live account be able to use it?

What for?....YouTube is free...i pay for my internet connection,What a joke Microsoft.
