I've been researching this site and a few others for a few weeks and i think im ready to start my build. The pc will mainly be used for surfing internet, photo editing, and music downloading. Here are a list of things i'll be ordering on Monday, unless anyone thinks i should go for something different. Im trying to keep everything under or around 500.

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit for System Builders - OEM $99.99

This totals up to 526.41(including an anti static wrist strap) - 30.00 in mail in rebates, so a total of $496.41.

I already have a Cooler master centurion 5 case, and corsair 400 watt ps, i believe its 30a on a single 12v rail which im thinking will be plenty large enough.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

+1, the Phenom II will outperform that core 2 duo plus provide backward compatibility for whenever amd released next cpu, as socket 775 is basically end of life and afaik no new processors will be released for 775.
