newbe first build

im looking to build a new pc very soon. need a every day work computer/ lite gaming rig. looking to spend around 500 bucks with os. wanting a good motherboard/cpu/power supply all other i can upgrade. i have sitting around is a geforce 8400gs video card to put in it for the time till i can upgrade. just mianly need the bare bones. What can yall come up with from newegg. thanks for the help and i will try to post what i come up with soon.

Nice build; personally, I would go for a Western Digital drive over a Seagate. I've always had good luck with WD.
 
Your not going to match the volume of a Seagate at the same price with WD. Both are okay drives. I use both in my system. 1TB seagate, 640 GB WD blue (2.5"), and 320 GB WD black (2.5"). None give an issue with operation at all.
 
I would also go with Denther's choice of PSU over the Rosewill one you wanted by the way.
 
Go for the FX-4300 over the 4100.

1066MHz? You want 1600MHz RipJaws-X!

No. His mobo only supports up to 1066 unless overclocking the RAM.

To the OP, you can do it, but you'll have to tweak some settings in the mobo to get it to work.
