Well basically I have used a laptop for 3 years now, mainly for games and coursework and well the laptop is really out of date. This is evident from when I play games, I am normally the slowest person to load in an online game and the laptop also gets very hot. So I am considering buying a desktop computer to replace my old laptop.
But the problem is I am quite clueless when it comes to buying a computer, I know what what each component of a computer does but that is as far I can go. I am also not interested in building a computer, so pleassse don't suggest this. So I want my computer to be fast, so a good processor is the main thing I want (over 2.5GHZ) and obviously a good enough graphics card will be needed for games. Storage is not a main problem as I tend have a habit of deleting things I don't use and reinstalling it later if I do need it.
I have a limit of £1000, for all my computer stuff (so this includes buying a monitor) and really I don't want to be paying this (the full amount) unless I am really convinced it is worth it.
