hi all, this is my first post basically and dont have time yet for the introductions...
i actually got a few questions,
firstly i have vista ultimate and cant really fault it yet.i am wanting to know what software i can use to enhance vista and make it run better.. i dont mean theme or icon editors either...
also i have read a bit on cpu clocking, does anyone have a link for the intel speed??? as i would like to try this way first to check temps b4 i do it from bios.
also is there software that shows the cpu temperature?i cant seem to find any
also this is out of topic, but have a laptop with 1g gig 466mhz ram. would upgrading to 2gb 600mhz be a noticable upgrade?is there much of a diff between ddr and ddr2 and sdram?
its limit is 2gb. i dont really play games, just microsoft flight simulator and could run alot better but i do multi task alot with programs...
the price of the ram is about $50au on ebay, $20bp or so, is that the right price or would i be getting a non genuine product? alot r around that price too.
