Newegg: 320GB for $49

Just thought id pass along this deal I found on Newegg, a 320GB Hitatchi hard drive for $49.99 + Free Shipping. I ordered one for one of my PCs, and it works out to be 15 cents per gigabyte, which is an outstanding price. :eek::eek:
 
my 100 has 14 free....
my 160 has 16.7 free...
my 750 has 474 free.

:eek: I just got my 750 two or three weeks ago....
 
but still. hitachi... i hear death stories a lot, personally i would (and actually did) pay just a little bit more for a WD Caviar 320GB, they dont die quickly in my experience ;)

actually, I'm in the process of converting all of my DVDs, for use with my iPod. I first copy the raw data to the computer (4gb per DVD)... so far I've done dozens. Some DVDs have a higher capacity (dual layer) too, so most are closer to 8gb. I have 40gb of music in multiple locations on the drives.... (probably 3 copies... I'm not sure why... but I need to delete the ones I don't use, that's 80gb)

Legality of porn ownership depends on what country you're in. In England at least, it's been legal for a long time (thank goodness). Only violent and kiddie porn is illegal.

I would be more likely to question the legality of 40 gb of music ;)
 
That's amazing! WOW!!! I hate not being in the US, i miss out on things like this, or i hate that newegg won't ship to aus :(:(
 
Why would that be illegal? He didn't post any adult material. I just read forum rules and it says no posting of adult material. I didn't know the word "pr0n" was adult material. Lighten up.
 
I like the way Hitatchi slogan is Inspire the Next. Its like they are telling you that after owning this drive you will want another brand.:D
