Non replaceable means you can't send it back for a new one.
You can only return it for Refund.

You didn't post the ENTIRE policy...
Plus, they're tested for functionality.

theres a difference between being a dick and a assertive.

unless you drugged a girl and then got her pregnant its both parties responsibility. just the way it is.

and in case you didnt remember, you got on and said:

Also. Just get the 4830 or invest in a 4850, which I have, which maxes out all my Orange Box @ 1680x1050, Fallout 3, Red Alert 3, and ALL my games pre-2007, save Crysis. I've ordered like four open box items, all came fine and worked, the videocards I ordered (8600gt, 3870) have lasted for over a year now, no issues.
 
its not disrespectful to say that jokingly on a forum. its disrespectful to say that when the babys born.
 
I agree bebopin, that was a nasty (re: dick) thing to say.

Though I can see why you got angry, where a simple :P would have probably fixed the whole thing. We should all know by now sarcasm is hard to read.

On topic, if you need to stick to your $80 maximum get the 3870, it's better than the others for the price.

Johan i do not take offense to your remark at ALL. your right anyone who gets a girl pregnant needs to man up and stick with it. but trust me i am taking 100% responsibilty. i made that comment because i still am a little pissed off about the situation with her, let just give you a short explaination:

My girlfriend cheated on me she said she was drunk idk.. i left her, we'd been dating for 2 years. i go to a party a month later, my best friend callsmy ex-gf so we and tells her to come to the party so we can talk about it. im drunk shes sober we have sex. She tells me 2 weeks later that shes pregnant and admits she did it on purpose to stay with me.

im not trying to take responsibilty off of me. im just saying its kinda bs. But i really do love her and were both commited to raising him. Shes 30 weeks pregnant as of right now

The sapphire hd 3870, based on reviews, i guess is a cheaply made verison of the hd 4870. i guess the memory banks cant handle the heat. Usually i dont pay attention to newegg reviews but the card really does look half-assed. So im just gonna play it safe and go with the BFG because it seems like a good quailty card

i was just going to give that short explanation.. but whatever

i payed $200 for the dna test, twice. i did the test twice because i thought i maybe messed up the first sample, even though the doctor gave me a report saying i am the father. Also i paid $300 for a 3D ultra sound so that they could pinpoint the time of conception (+\- a week) which matched the date we had sex. i still havent mentioned to her that i did a dna test

we'd been dating for 2 years and we never had a problem with our relationship so im confident that i know who she is. and before she cheated on me i was saving for a ring (had over $2100). which is basically now paying for all of the hospital bills.

When she cheated on me she was with her friends, and she got caught up partying with them. She doesnt even know the name of the guy... Her best friend told me what happened that morning. still isnt an excuse but you have to understand how i felt about her, i mean i was about to make the biggest mistake a guy makes: Getting married

I told her flat out that i now have no intention of marrying her because of what happened. she bitches about it but idk. its just how i feel now

No, no,no...

3870 and 4870 are two entirely different cards. 3870 isn's cheaply made, it's a very solid card, just doesn't perform nearly as well being a previous-generation card. However, considering your budget, that card is an excellent choice.

Of course, the "solidity" of the card depends on the manufacturer, too. BFG is "solid", so you're good to go with 'em.

And yeah, I've cheated on Michele too, when I was drunk, over a year ago now... Worthless and stupid, the whole ordeal was the epitome of a stupid ****ing decision - she still doesn't trust me fully, and man, it's okay, but don't drill her too hard about it - not up front at least, when something on the topic comes up, voice your opinion, but don't be a dick...
Sorry for the earlier 'dick' comments too - your case is the exception to the rule pretty much.
Still. 3870 all the way. Had a Sapphire 3870 and it was amazing.
 
i bought this: BFG 9600GT




i kinda think i got a good deal on it. but its the cheapest of all the 9600gt's avaliable so im alittle skeptical on how effiective the card will be in overclocking (and quailty in general).. How is bfg as a company? are they as good as Asus or EVGA?
