Newegg, eh?

So Newegg potentially averted a little disaster for me:

I placed my order for my 8800 GT this afternoon and paid to get the 2 day shipping so it would be here for Thursday. Anyway, I get an email about 15 minutes later saying my credit card was denied I went to the link to update my card info and made sure no typos and the same thing happened!!

A little worried a gave neweg a call to say wtf? and found out it was because I was having the shipment sent to my work instead of my house which is on the card. So in their kindness the bumped my package up to next day for me for free! Pretty slick on their part for something that was my mistake!

So was it really your mistake? Or there fraud protection things?

Did you put your work address as the billing address? Or just put your work as the shipping address?

I put my home address as billing and work address as shipping, but apparently you can only do that if my work address is registered to my card as well.

Either way, that was pretty posh of them

Newegg is awesome. I've had nothing but good experiences with them..
