newegg question

Does it cost any money to have a NewEgg account?
The reason I ask, is I went to make one, and it said I HAD to have my address and phone number on there so they can send me "monthly bills" BUT IM NOT BUYING ANYTHING YET!!!

Thanks in advanced, sorry if this is a stupid question, I just dont want them to have my phone number and adress to send me bills for absolutly nothing.
 
It doesn't cost anything to have a newegg account. I don't know what that monthly bill crap you're talking about is, but the only time newegg bills me is when I order stuff haha.

Its possible you were trying to apply for "Bill Me Later"???
 
Johnb35- I doubt it. I went ahead and did it, I guess it's just part of the registration for a new account, that way they have your billing info in advanced, that way when you go to buy somthing it's already done.
