No, not here in Massachusetts (I live in Mass. and just put out a big order-delivery thursday), but no , no tax charged when shipping to here here.

That's some good news, I thought I had just totally messed up my budget by forgetting taxes.

jeez you would have to buy a HUGE order for taxes to mess you up that badly

I wouldn't want to pay an extra 14% or however much the taxes are in Mass.
That would be an extra $150 which would make me have to cut my video card from say a 8800 GTS 320 MB to a 7600 GT

Don't think so, there are 3 states I think where you have to pay taxes on newegg.

I dont think so, but like 1 1/2 years ago they charged me tax??.. might have looked wrong, but i think it was there. but now, no

Yea, it really sucks liviing in NJ, they tax us here, and on an $1100 order thats almost an extra $80, thats enough to buy another gig of ram if I didn't live in NJ.

yes.. thats why i buy from tigerdirect and ebay MOST of the time... but tiger gives me defective items and ebay dont ship well

They only charge tax where their warehouses are located. The ones I know of are CA, NJ, TN, and PA.
