The specs are in the signature. It powers on, nothing comes up on the screen, and then it powers off. After about 2 seconds it powers back on. HELP!!! I am desperate!!!:(:(:(:(:(:(
By the way I bought a used motherboard and some cpu pins on the socket seem so be bent (I don't know if this matters ) Also I tried putting in my old 8400gs to check if its the video card but its not.

one of my builds did that too/ on-off and kept cycling, I fixed this in bios screen ,onchip sata type from ahci to native ide
this corrected my problem,it may help you.regards
also this was on gigabyte ga970 mobo, intel I-7 chipset mite be different

I looked through this thread, and none of the possibilities match my problem. My computer doesn't even make a beeping noise, however the light on the motherboard lights up for a second and its blue, not red which is good I guess. I might do some more diagnosing because I didn't try unplugging the hdd and the dvd burner yet, but I think the bent pins are the problem, so I will just contact the motherboard seller If I won't figure it out...

im fairly sure bent pins on a LGA socket are going to cause you problems...its kind of a duh thing...just saying, if you dont know how to fix it at this point, take it to the shop, they may be able to straighten your pins, its a laborous task but sometimes it can be done.
