NexStar 3 + Vista

Hi, I recently obtained an external NexStar 3 eSATA / USB hard drive (NST-360SU) and am having troubles getting Vista to recognize it. I first tried the eSATA connection but it wouldn't show up under "My Computer". When I plugged it in, I got a "waiting" mouse pointer for a second but nothing happened. I then tried the USB and got the "connected" sound but nothing under "My Computer".

I have an M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition Mobo.

Any Ideas?

Cheers.

right click "my computer" and press manage. From there go to disk manager. See if it's listed there. Then you may need to format it or assign a drive letter. Just do some right clicking and look at the options and you'll probably get it.
