I just upgraded my RAM from 4GB DDR3 1333MHz to 8GB DDR3 1333MHz and it solved the slowing that was caused by slow Data transfer between my RAM and SATA HDD. And I Still have some money to upgrade something else on my computer, and Iam going to get my next payment soon. so Iam thinking to upgrade something else. but i cant decide what to upgrade.
my Specs:

motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H55M-D2H
CPU: intel i3 540 3.07GHz 3.06GHz
GPU: GeForce GT 240 1GB on board memory
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz (not going to upgrade for a while)
Sound: on Board (Built in)
Cooling: General Air cooling (CPU Fan - Open Case)
HDD: Samsung 1TB SATA HDD
powerSupply: 500W common powersupply.

Can anyone guide me which is the most Important component to upgrade based on these specs. thanx.

I would say that the weakest parts of your computer in order are most likely the PSU, GPU and CPU. otherwise you are golden.

To be sure, what brand is your PSU? That will make a big difference on if you can upgrade your GPU. If you can even upgrade the GPU to a GT430 or GT440 you will see a better performance and less power consumption being FERMI instead of the older architecture.

JAWAY is written on the power supply as a logo, i think it is a chinese.
what are some of the good power supply makers, maybe i can order one from the capital city.

Also, I saw today a GT 520 in the store and I thought about buying it, but will it working with my power supply? or should I consider buying one? because if it will work i wont upgrade my PSU this year.

And Thanx for your help.

I would not get a 520. they are the lowest 500 series FERMI card out there. A 440 would be far faster.

And I would suggest a PSU upgrade to Antec, Corsair, NZXT, OCZ, PC power and cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, or XFX with 500 watts or greater and you will be good for anything that you wish to upgrade.

Thank you very much wolfeking, you helped me alot. I will upgrade my PSU first to one of the PSUs you mentioned and I will try to get one with more Watts so that I dont need to reupgrade it if i need to change any part in the future.

and thanx for telling me that 440 is better than 520. I had a false idea that the larger the number the better the performance.

It generally does, but not completely. Think of it like this.
GT/GTS/GTX are the series. GT is lowest, GTS is medium and GTX is performance.
6***, 7***, 8***, 9***, 2**, 4**, 5**, and 6** are the series of the card. Basically the overall engine of the card. The second number is the exact chip.

Most of the time if it is within the same series, the bigger the second number the better it performs. GT440 is above the GT520.
