Nfs the run running slow

Hi guys,

Ive got nfs the run and im running it on a i7 2600, 16gb, ssd and a hd4850 gfx card and sometimes it seems to be really laggy when cops chase me etc, ive got all the graphics textures set to low and vsync off, atm im running it on res 1680 by 1024
 
It's probably the HD 4850. EA with their NFS games are notorious for favouring nvidia cards and gimping the performance of AMD cards.

Do you have problems with any other games? I doubt you do, but anyway... it might be upgrade time :o
 
I have no other problems with ither games i run them gine so as you said its just nfs so screw them, im not spending £500 just to by latest nvidia card
 
I agree with you there :)

You could grab another 4850 and do crossfire, if your motherboard supports it.

Dont have to spend £500 mate to get superb peformance,a GTX 560 can be had for about £160 ish. :)..and the (TI Version) for about £10 more,Or save yourself some money and buy a used one.

I would not do Crossfire 4850,You will still be stuck with DX10.1.
