NIC Problem

Hello,

I get the following message sometimes when my computer starts "PCI Express NIC Bridge Failure". Sometime my computer starts and sometimes the monitor is blank and I have to restart the computer a couple of times before it loads. I have dell XPS which is about 3 years old. I read somewhere it might be the BIOS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds as if your NIC is failing and you may need to install a new one in a PCI slot. It's extremely unlikey that anything is wrong with your BIOS. About the only thing you can do is to reset your BIOS or upgrade it if there is one. I'd disable the NIC and isntall a new one if the BIOS reset doesn't work.
