*~! Nice PC Desks??? !~*

Anyone know where to find/buy nice pc desks? I'm looking for long type desks, possibly with 2 shelves (to put 2xmonitors). It can be straight or an L shape.

but twice as longer.

It can be glass or solid(wood), but I prefer a darker (black) colored desk.

If anyone knows nice pc gaming/studio desks, please let me know.
I don't want any cheap $50 desks, or $5000 desks, a few hundred would be a good range.

Yeah, Staples do a lot of quality desks. I think almost every office and furniture store will do computer desks now.:)
 
Yeah I was thinking about making my own desk however it seems too time consuming and difficult. Secondly, most furniture stores don't have the type of desk I want. I want a gaming type desks with a decent arc stand to put my monitors/speakers on. I was also interested in a studio desk. However those seem to have little space and seem very expensive.

How do you make your own desk? Especially for a person who has no idea how to start? haha

My dad is building me one to match the corner I have in my room. Can't really help you here... Although I'd suggest something made of wood instead of glass, most likely it will be cheaper.
 
Gotta love that as soon as you add the "pro audio" buzz words everything doubles or more in price. It's a $300 desk...max.
 
Yeah I was also told those desks are way over priced. However does anyone know where to get good deal desks like those? preferably gaming/studio desks?

It sounds like a:

Ikea Jerker Desk would have fit you perfectly. They also had a Jerker table (I have one) and that is a great piece of work.

Unfortunately they no longer carry them, but you can find them on craigslist every now and then.
The Fredrik replace the desk, althought I'm not to fond of it.

I must admit... it looks amazing... Maybe too perfect for my needs... Perfect for my studio/pc.
I can put up my speakers up top and my monitors on the 2nd level, and my keyboard/mouse on the bottom...

Anyone know where to buy 1 of these?

Damn I wonder why they discontinued it. Those desks seem the best.

Actually the Fredrik isn't that bad... but it has no 2nd shelf for the pc to go on, so thats a minus.

Anyone know a site where they sell brand new ikea jerkers? I am willing to pay additional for you for your time/help.

Put some thought into your computer room. i installed a wood floor and have a desk / table 12 feet long so i can slide across from one piece of hardware to the next. I was curious about gaming desk though. im not a gamer but found interesting for serious players. heres the link.

one other thing. i know someone that is a gamer.
he found a bucket seat from a maybe chevy II nova super sport.
took the office chair on wheels (5 wheels and heavy duty).
bolted this sucker down and looks like something you would find
in a rocketship.

yeah I saw those before. However if I sat in 1 of those, I don't think I can just slide over to do something else. I prefer more open/gaming desks like a jerker or fredrik.
