I can't remember the TV show i was watching but they said definitly second gen and if it doesnt play dvds im going to be mad

I'm not saying that Nintendo won't do it but... What is their motivation? why would they not just add it to the first generation? IT is because it is not necessary. Lets face it, DVD players are cheap. Do we really need another device to play DVDs? All your doing is putting ware on your game console playing DVD movies. There is no point.

the wii is very hard to get, my freind orded one but is has'nt come yet they say it will arrive by late january

I have the Wii for awhile now. My first reaction when I open it from the box was a little shocking on seeing the size of the unit. The graphics are good. But the nintendo wii controller uses up a lot of batteries. I had it for a month already playing Zelda and some other games and went through a whole pack of AA.

I got it for Christmas(I couldn't believe my parents got a hold of one)and it's probably the best experience I've had with a console in a while just those five sports games kept my entire family entertained for hours it's great! I can't wait to try some other games on it.
