So I bought lately a PowerColor Radeon 6850 and I played extensively with AA settings and I get none. Grainy games that's all ???

Which games, and what are the settings in CCC set to?

If they are set to performance rather than quality, it is no surprise that you are getting what looks like no AA, the settings on the card itself will be saying "don't make the pictures great, just make the fps great"

This. Most games have their own options for anti-aliasing though. I prefer to use those simply because while my older games will look much better and still run smooth, I find its a pain to manually configure my AA for more modern games that would have my framerate plummet with intense anti-aliasing on. Another thing to consider is that some games just look bad, and AA's effects can be fairly subtle. Maybe its working and you just can't tell? I can hardly tell the difference unless its absurd amounts, and in almost all of my games, I doubt I'd notice if it suddenly stopped working.
