No audio on Wind. Med. Plyr when watchin a DVD movie?

I rented a DVD movie and I wanted to watch it on my computer. Windows Media Player plays it but with no audio. Other video formats play fine. It says the DVD is in Dolby Digital, but the DVD menu has no option to play it in just stereo. Anyway how do I fix this problem? No my audio mixer is not on mute, and yes all the channels on the mixer are on maximum volume.

I have Windows Media Player version 10.

Try downloading some codecs.

Try using other software. I recommend Media Player Classic for viewing DVDs.

Yeah download the updated codecs & your system audio drivers.

It worked when i downloaded the codecs.
