Well it's been about two years now that I haven't had audio on my computer. My audio was produced by on mobo sound/audio. I do not have a sound card. Now when I try to play any of the music files that I have, I receive the following:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."
I haven't been able to restore my audio, and don't understand why I lost audio in the first place. It's kinda peaceful not having audio, but at times I would like to be able to play some of my audio files.
Any suggestions on what might be wrong, and how I might correct this problem?
