No boot, post, or input!!!

My computer stopped booting after overclocking. It would start up, as in all the fans turned on, but there was no input into the monitor. I tried switching out the CPU, the PSU, the RAM, the motherboard, the graphics card, the monitor, the monitor cable, the power supply cable, every other cable.

This leads me to believe I left something out simple. My connections are setup right, I've had several computer savvy people look over it.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I guess I could try that, even though I already did it before I replaced my motherboard. (RMA)

No change...

Sorry for the double post, does anybody have any clue. I really don't want to have to either call some guy to come over here and tell me what I already know or throw the computer in the trash.

My next step would be to disconnect both PSU connections from the MoBo (20/4-pin and 4-pin CPU), then remove the MoBo battery for about 10 seconds. Before re-connecting the PSU cables, I'd make certain that the graphics card and RAM are properly seated and be sure your HDD connectors are secure. Re-connect the PSU cables to the MoBo and try again.

Stupid question, but I have to ask...is the monitor plugged in/power getting to it? Usually, you'll see two colors on the power button - green for operational and orange for standby. Do you see either of them?

Yeah, the monitor is on standby.

And what CPU power connector? Isn't there just the 24 pin connector? Did I miss one? What does it look like?

Sorry for the blast of questions, but this may be my solution.

THAT WAS IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH! On other forums I've had 10+ responses with no help, but that did it. I feel so stupid. Thank you.

:D Glad you got it in order!

Never feel stupid from something you're not 100% familiar with. I promise you you'll be hyper-aware of that 4-pin CPU plug every time you're inside your case now, and never forget to hook it up again:)

Welcome to CF!
