no conection/power

when i insert the network card into my laptop its not reading it so it is as thought there is no power going to it, all the lights are out could anyone help asap

Is this a pci slot card? How does it work? Also does it show up at all in explorer? What are your laptop specs? What os etc...

Have you installed drivers? They usually don't "light up" until drivers are installed.

And you don't need to make three seemingly identical threads for what appears to be a related problem...
