No conection

Hi all
I'm not too technical with with computers so please be gentle
I have 2 laptops

Dell inspiron 1520 Vista
hp pavilion zv6000 XP
both have buit in wireless
I'm using a Belkin wireless router

My dell works perfect although i did have to change some settings but cant remember where i got the info.
The hp will only connect to a few websites, it says the connection is excellent, i have run all the scans and cleaned it up but no joy
Any help will be greatly received

the hp is not connecting with most websites
i type in the web address and nothing happens
but the connection says excellent

i have no idea why you would be getting one website but not the other... now are you sure its not all websites?
