salvage-this Active Member Dec 10, 2014 #4 do you hear any startup sounds when you boot the laptop? You could also try clearing the CMOS of the laptop to see if that is causing any issues.

C copiman Member Dec 10, 2014 #5 Yes, you can here the laptop booting. I removed the round battery and re-installed. Still nothing.
salvage-this Active Member Dec 10, 2014 #6 did you remove the cmos battery and hit the power button multiple times. If the laptop battery was not removed it was not cleared.
