No Halo

I have a Compaq Presario SR1053WM. My son plays some games on it , but says it wont play Halo, that it needs a new video card. How do I tell what card I have and what should I replace it with. How do I get a printout of all my computer, hardware & software?

the graphics for that system are unichrome integrated graphics. the motherboard is an A7V8X-LA. this system has an AGP slot that is unused if you have not had it upgraded.
You are looking for an AGP card; through personal preference i would choose an Nvidia geforce 6600gt or better. im not too familiar with ATI cards so im sure mailliw would welcome any other suggestions

if you dont want to spend much, the ati 9600xt for less then $100 is an excellent choice.
