i have a msi 6577 v2.1 i have a line in line out and microphone. I bought a new case with a head phone jack in the front how can i get it to work? Its a coolmaster coc-t05. Help please.
there should be wires coming out of the front of the case for the audio, refer tp your motherboards manual on where the sound headers are and how to hook up a headphone port.
does anybody know please i really need some help
is there another way the can i wire the headphone jack from the front of my case to the aduio in jack and make it so that the speakers turn off whe i put the headphones on? I need help!!!!
you can just get a speaker system that has a controller w/ a headphone jack..that's what mine has, and when i plug my headphone into the jack it cuts the speakers off.

Also on the motherboard there ashould be 8-10 pins all for audsio, there should be 2 audion ins(L%R)2 audio outs(L&R) 1-2 grounds, 1VCC, mic in, mic bias, a key, and one mroe thing i cant remember....Anyway's look for the outline of them in your manual, and then just plug them in, and make you you sure the pins irgh(like when it says pin 4, make sure you read down to pin 4 right) Also if you have a sound card instead of intergrated with your mobo there may be pins on the soundcar to use instead.
The headphones and the regular are the same thing, when ANYTHING is pluged into it it will stop the current one's, just plug all the wires that your case comes with into the mobo, the ones you at least want to plug in are audio left and right out and in.
If that were so, how come I hear sound from my speakers if i didnt have them conncected correctly I wouldnt hear anything right? See i dont get it and mor importantly i doesnt work.
It doesn't work? As is when you plug your headphnoe's into the jack sound doesn't even come out of your headphone's?
You must have them connected up wrong look in the manaul and make sure things like pin 4 in the actull pin you pluged it in too, make sure you have the pin number correctly done. Also ther could possibily be a jumper.
Either conected wrong or faulty mobo. Also if you have a sound CARD not intergrated check for pin's on that. headphone jack is the same for audio it just act's as primary thus shutting anything else off, trust me, the same
Also when you plug the pins in there will be a jumper goes across from the two left pins and the two right pins that you will need to take off to plug them in
man i dont know wtf todo! I disconected the wires the speakers still play so that means it has nothing todo with the pins. I tried puting those for wires( right left, in out) in all the pins but i would just get static and the headphones would get hot thats about it. I get I gotta go buy a phukin sound card now . This sucks.
