no idea what im doing wrong!!!!!!

ok just to start this off i dont know much about computers i aquired a desktop computer gateway not sure of the model but it looks like the "ATXSTF" if it isnt that model when i got it i turned it on and it said "Copyright (C) 1999-2000 Intel Corperation. All Rights Reserved." i thought ok and letf it there a few days later i tried it again it worked then when i was on it about an hour later it did it again. so i waited a few more days and it worked fine for about 2 months then it shit the bed so then i got a gateway laptop thatcame with the gateway software disk and reloaded xp onto the desktop and it was working great for about 15 min untill the screen got all fuzzy so i restarted it and am now getting the same message. if anybody knows about this about what is goint wrong or how to fix it that would be great. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED.

from what I gather, he/she got a computer that was leaving a Copyright error message?

Then when he loaded XP from a laptop CD, the screen became fuzzy.

Right?
