No Keyboard Response

Hello. I have an EMachines T2484. There is no KBoard response in WINDOWS. KB isn't broken, i tried another one, and KBoard works in bios. I has a password, so i cant get on to my PC. Should i just do a full restore?
ps: i am on a healthy pc. thanks, dave
 
what does "healthy pc" mean? Otherwise, check to make sure that you have it plugged in the correct spot, along with making sure it's fully in. <--- is normally the problem.

Since this is your computer ... have you tried taking the password off? As for the restore, go for it, cant really hurt ... seems like the keyboard driver's gotten mucked up
