No Keyboard

Installed new mb and components, but it will not reconize the keyboard. When I plug in the keyboard(s) they only flash the pwr lites briefly and then go off (much like when u boot up). However after post I can not get any pwr to the keyboard so can't enter bios or load new os or anything, any ideas. Ma 770 ds3 Thanks



Disregard, I pulled battery and the second time I left it out for more than the 1 min suggested in book and it is now working, thanks anyway.

make sure you didn't plugged the keyboard into the mouse connector. otherwise might be faulty mb. take it back to the store.

kinda off but if your keyboard doesn't work and you need to do work..use the on-screen keyboard..in the Accessibility folder until you get a new mb

try connecting it to another computer.
if that doesn't work to your keyboard is faulty.

try connecting another keyboard to your pc.
if that doesn't work your mb is faulty.

Don't know why but it started to work after changing 3 keyboards around. Now back to fisrt board and still working so I could enter bios and turn on usb to support keyboard/mouse. Thanks for the help.
