My new mobo doesn't have locks on anything, such as the fsb and the agp/pci and is already on it's highest multiplier, so..... how dangerous is it to overclock evrything else?
You may want to correct your sig there. The 3400+ is a 2.2ghz model venice core cpu. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103023
Yup, PC eye is wrong (...), the 3400+ for socket 754 is at 2.4 Ghz.Btw, my sig is correct as it is..... My CPU is a Newscastle with a default clock at 2.4 Mhz.....
Theres no multiplier for AGP and PCI slots, there's just a lock which keeps the FSB from affecting it. However, I may be wrong, but I don't think your mobo has AGP locks. So you might be limited because of that.So i have a chance of OC if I turn done the AGP PCI multiplier?
Well, that's great and all, but nobody really cares because that's not what he's asking.I well aware of that being a board tweak there. But when you start stepping the voltage up a notch to 1.6v or 1.7v the vpu is going to get pretty warm in a short period of time. But there's always something to cool a vpu with like the Artic Cooling model seen at http://www.coolerguys.com/840556035527.html
Both are. When you set your RAM to run at 200 Mhz, you really set it to run at at a 1:1 ratio with the FSB (which is 200 Mhz at default). Your RAM is running at 205 Mhz.Another question...... My mobo does have a form of a memory clock as you can put a max on the fequency. I set it to 200 Mhz and OC my FSB to 205 Mhz. My bios says my mem freq. is at 200 Mhz but CPU-z and EasyTune5 say otherwise..... which is correct?
Btw, my sig is correct as it is..... My CPU is a Newscastle with a default clock at 2.4 Ghz.....
Your sig is still off. You forgot to list the socket type there.

I'm asking if the memore freq. went up with it or not with the max at 200Mhz on.......
