Hey all,
I just finished building my own computer last night, (hooray!) and everything has gone smoothly so far, aside from one minor irritant.
When I installed my Hard Drive, I had the choice between plugging it in to the Marvel Sata slot, or the Intel Sata slot. I chose the Intel slot.
Now, each time I boot my computer, I see the Asus Logo screen, then a screen that says "Marvel: No Hard Drive Detected!", then the Asus Logo screen again, then it boots.
I know why it's happening (hur dur), but it's just annoying and wastes like 5-10 seconds of time. Should I just try and remove the driver for the Marvel slot completely? (Bear in mind, however, it said this even on first boot-up when the driver wasn't even installed at all yet)
Is there something in the EFI of my mobo that I can do to disable it?
Thanks!
