No Mobo?

I tried updating my BIOs with the Asus Live update and it says that i dont have an asus motherboard. Same thing with any bios setups i've downloaded.
Can anyone help...im getting frequent shut downs and i think this is the problem.
Please help

I would say your random shut downs are due to either heat or unstable power not the BIOS

Also remember that the 9800Pro your thinking of adding to the mix is one power hungry beast.

i ended up getting the BFG 6600GTOC nVIDIA GeFORCE.....also i just got a new psu too bc some ppl were telling me i had unstable power(all new parts too ill list at bottom). I have the asus probe which tells me all of my temps and power:

CPU Temp:40c/ 104f
MB Temp: 33c/91f
CPU Fan: 2766
Power Fan: 0(its not connected to the mobo)
Chassis Fan: 0 (not connected tot the mobo)

Voltage
+12v: 11.84
+5v: 4.919
+3.3v: 3.216
VCore: 1.376
