No Monitor?

I just installed my new video card into my freshly built computer, and its not reading the monitor. Is there any solution for this, because this is the first computer I have ever build.

Ok! What type of video card do you have? Monitor? Are you getting a ‘no signal’ error? Is the system powering on? Fans, LEDs etc. Also, some specs on your system would help!

In the mean time it could be a number of things, listing the above will narrow things down a bit.

i dont but thats why i ask

he will either say

1.yes and its still not working
2.i dont know how
3.no not yet

not that I know of,

my dog pissed all over my box that I had all my computer stuff in and it soaked threw onto my manuals and other boxs, I have a Asus P5LD2 Deluxe, do you happen to know how to do this. I dont really wanna search a urinated manual.

Regardless if he has onboard video or not, no display usally isn't even related to the video card or monitor... If it's a "freshly built computer" then theres probably some other underlying problem.

Please search around the forum for suggestions on what to do. This is quite a common problem.

no,

Motherboard: Asus P5LD2 Deluxe
Video Card: Radeon x1300 untill my other arrives from the states

Monitor: 17" Toshiba Flat Screen

All fans work, lights turn on on all the fans, and on the front of the computer. I will search around also. Thank you.

tried a different monitor, exact same problem.

I cant find anything to do with the problem on here. Or any other forums. Guess I will just have to goof around and find out.
