I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit on my hp laptop and now my wireless networking doesn't work. I have installed the newest drivers for the networking on the laptop and still nothing. Could someone help me out here?

Did you run setup wiz?

If the setup wiz is what came with the original OS I don't have it. Windows isn't even recognizing my computer as a HP.

Hmm..

I had same issues with my toshy..but I went to the site and had to manually download each driver from the manufacturer site.

Once I did that I was good.

I assume your home/office network is currently online? Can you 'check available networks'?

My network is working because I have this computer on the same one. I am going to try to download the drivers and everything on this computer and install them on my laptop.

I installed all the drivers that were available on hp's website (including the chipset drivers) but it still doesn't work.

ok, I figured it out. I was downloading the wrong driver. It was for another hp laptop. It is fixed now. Thanks for helping though.
