NO output

I know I am missing something so simple that I'm going to facepalm when we discover what it is.

Anyway, GT540m 1GB integrated card is not giving any output. NO Yellow flags in device manager, not showing up in game setup. Reinstalled driver, and Disassembled it again to be sure all the power switches were attached. They were. Also checked for maleware and there was none.

So, anyideas on what I could be missing?
 
This a built-in graphics card? You are using an add-in card for video right now and want to use both? That would be a BIOS setting, if it is possible.
 
its a laptop. It has the i3 integrated and the GT540m "dedicated" (even though its non removable).
I can use the i3 HD just fine. But its not using the GT540m at all.
 
there is no option for disabling either in the BIOS. I had a fit trying to get the dedicated to work when I first got it because of the lack of BIOS options (same with HT)
 
Does your laptop has "Optimus" installed? If so, that pretty much controls everything, not much to be done about it.
