No PC Restore

Hi everyone.

I own a Dell XPS 410 with windows vista. I'd like to sell it, but before I do I want to wipe the drive clean and bring the computer back to the state it was in to begin with. However, there's no pc restore option on this computer.

Is there an alternative?

Yeh, well if there is no PC/system restore, thats not good.
You can always format, right click on your HDD> format.
Its good to format more than once, twice will do.
Um yeh thats about all you need to do, unless you want windows on it still, then you will probably just have to uninstall EVERYTHING, have fun.

Formatting the hard drive then re-installing Windows would be your best bet.

... If the computer came with the Windows Disc.

If not you could put Ubuntu on it or something similar.

Yeah, I would be surprised if it didnt come with the disc. My old computer did. But this is Dell so they may operate differently.

Just because its a Dell dosn't mean it doesn't run on windows. Dell just made the components.... and added C4 to it.
