No Picture on the Screen

Just finished putting my computer together (I should note this is my first time ever putting a computer together myself). I was careful following instructions, and Im pretty sure I did everything right. When I hit the power button, everything works, the keyboard light comes on, all of the fans (ive checked) start spinning, and the front light comes on. But, there is no picture on the screen. I am using a ATI Radeon HD5570 graphics card. I am using the hdmi port on it, and then hooking it into my TV which Im using as the monitor. I have used this same HDMI cord/port to hook my macbook pro up and it works fine. The fan on the Graphics card spins, so something is happening there at least. Any suggestions? Here is my setup.

try to hook the VGA/DVI cable if possible (try other output/inputs for video), also remove one of the RAM stick and also additional HD's you might have and see if this thing runs on minimal resource. also try to remove the video card and boot from onboard VGA/DVI and see if that works.

Did you also use standoffs between the motheboard and the case? As suggested before, try using a dvi/vga cable and a regular monitor so we can troubleshoot this.

Fortunately it ended up being nothing this time, but thanks for your suggestions! My case was a bit warped, so it was keeping the hdmi cord from going all the way in.
