Do you think you might have done anything to cause this.....? One time I changed the SMARTGART settings on my system and got something similar to that. (The only way I could fix it was to reset the CMOS using the jumpers and boot up in safe mode....) Also, how many time did you try to start it up. Some computers (like mine) are really temperamental and sometimes takes a second attempt of a boot up to work.....

I would say to reset your CMOS using your jumpers but I'm not completely sure what may be causing the problem.....

Btw, jumpers are those pins with those little blue things on them.... Setting the jumpers a certain way can reset the CMOS and/or CMOS password. You need to check the mobo manual or the mobo itself for specific jumper settings. Do not set the jumpers with checking for the specific settings.....

nice thanks , i will do that tomorrow , can i mess up something if i do it wrong? THUMBS UP THANKS

I'm not sure..... I know for my jumpers that if you use it to reset the CMOS, the computer won't even turn on with the jumpers on those settings, you have to remove the jumpers in order to turn the PC back on..... I'm sure somebody will have the answer.....

100% of every motherboard i have owned ( not counting the mid 80's, 'cause i don't remember too much about that era), has had a jumper to reset the bios. what are you talking about?
