No Signal Problem

I am having an issue with my gateway desktop. After loading an windows vista update my computer froze on shut down, and when i shut it down and tried to repower it displays " no signal" on the monitor. There are no beeps . I really need this fixed please help!

So your computer does nothing when you turn it on? no beeps nothing? can you hear any fans starting up?

If you can hear fans starting / the Hard drive spinning, it may be an issue with your monitor and/or graphics card.

have you taken your PC apart or removed the side panel at all and touched any of the interior?
