No Signal to monitor

Yesterday I found out I had a bad power supply in my cpu, so I replaced it with a brand new power supply. Now when I turn on the CPU, then turn the monitor on, the monitor reads No Signal. I tried everything, from tightening the cords to restatring and reseting the bios, nothing. Please help.

Do you have another video card that you could put in? Chances are that something else may have blown when the PSU did.

I believed it was my PSU becuase my CPU would not get any power when I tried to turn it on. When I put a new psu in, it fired right up but now the monitor reads no signal. maybe something else blew as well. It all started about two weeks ago during Tropical storm Ernesto. We lost power for over 24 hrs. When the power was restored, I tried to turn on the CPU and nothing happened. At the time the power went out the CPU was not on
