No signal

As soon asi plug my monitor in, there is a no signal message and then it goes into sleep mode whats wrong?

If the computer is not running, there is no video so the monitor will go to sleep, other than access to its OSD menus.

If your monitor has multiple input options (i.e. via hdmi or db-15) make sure the correct input is selected via the menu on the monitor for whatever you have plugged in.

If you computer is up and running and you have no input to the monitor you may have a graphics card that is bad.
