Hi,
I can't believe how precious some pc shops are with sharing info. gees. hope someone here can help?? please
i have a new pentium 4 core 2 duo pc with asus p5B motherboard with Lifeview 3000 FM capture card. i have been trying to capture videos from an old camcorder using both s-video or composite plugs, but get absolutely noooo sound during recording or playback/editing.
i have recently tinkered with 2 different sound cards, still to no avail. I can get the speakers to work tho!!
the programmes i've used have been the lifevie 'flyvideo' programme (crap), moviemaker, nero express and pinnacle studio 8....all to no avail.
i have disabled and enabled the onboard sound, and played with the sound controls, but still. can anyone help please???
i just figured out that i needed to run a cable from back of cd player to sound card (idiot), so have spent the last solid 8 hours retracing all my steps.
can i bypass the sound card if i have onboard sound???
any help would be most welcome.
