A asdf2345 New Member May 20, 2016 #1 i got a old receiver off of ebay i looked through my computer part room and found 2 speakers but i had no sub woofer to test it with so i plugged them into it and i got no sound do i need a sub woofer to get the sound or is it dead

beers Moderator Staff member May 20, 2016 #2 Dem run-ons doe. Sub shouldn't matter, you can also test with other audio sources like a CD player.
