No sound from my comp.

Hi guys,well my comp stuffed up all together,had to get new cd room and reboot the system.its ok now,but when I put in the cd it says NO AUDIO HARDWARE IS AVALIABLE OR NOT RESPONDING.The sound always worked fine before I rebooted the system(windows xp),does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds as though its a Driver Issue.

Remove your Current Audio Drivers

Download your Latest Drivers

Re-Install Them.

If that is no good,

Are you using a Sound Card Or On-Board Sound?

If you are using a Sound Card,

Remove it, And Re-seat it.
