no sound on CH V

I have a crosshair v formula and its not putting out any sound from the mobo itself. I reinstalled the basic windows audio drivers but nothing. Any ideas

Check that it's enabled in the UEFI.

Should be under the advanced tab somewhere.

i dont see any audio options under the advanced tab in the uefi

In that case, it should be under advanced > southbridge settings. Just look around til you find it, UEFI/BIOS isn't all that complicated and you can't hurt anything by looking
