My friend has a compaq Presario S3040SE. He wanted his machine reformated and windows xp installed. When this was done he lost the drivers to his multimedia audio controller and his computer can no longer play sound. I have looked all over the compaq site as well as many other driver sites on the internet but I could not find the driver. Could someone help me with this please. If you have it or know where to find it please let me know. Thanks.
