No USB on MOBO

I'm looking to install a multi media card reader into an extra 3.5 drive in my Dell Dimension 4400 yet the readers I've seen require a usb header connection which my mobo doesn't have. I do have a 4 port usb card with an interal usb connection so my questions are do they make a multi card reader with just a regular usb connector and if not is there a usb header connection to usb regular connection cable that you can buy? If there are any other options for hooking up card reader without a usb header connection would appreciate them. Thanks
